These ground stakes will work if pushed into firm soil. They can be used to hold supply pipe in place, often until further soil is put on top as another means of spotting down the supply pipe.

They are generally not needed for the LeakyPipe as this will lie flat if the 'wind' is taken out - see video here.   They are not an essential, but can be handy.

The easy disconnection allows you to un-clip and use your hose for something else when you aren't watering with LeakyPipe. Simply re-clip the next time you want to water your garden.
