LeakyPipe® 50m Hose Pipe is a Reliable Irrigation System

LP12H General Purpose LeakyPipe is a 50m long porous hose which weeps water along its length. It will irrigate 50m lengths of pipe, although several lengths can be happily operated at once. A standard household tap pressure can water up to 300m LeakyPipe® at once. It will not perish or be affected by frost. It is flexible so you can snake it back and forth to water your borders, beds and shrubs.

How to Use our 50m Soaker Hose?

You can arrange it as rings or spiral around newly planted trees to aid their establishment. This 50m hose pipe works most efficiently when covered by a mulch or soil as evaporation is reduced. Overall you use less water with LeakyPipe® than watering by hand and it will work out-of-sight whilst you enjoy your garden. Extend the time you water with this to provide effect.

This soaker hose is also available in 100m, 250m, 450m rolls.

LeakyPipe® 50metre Hose Pipe is not designed to used from a water butt, without pumping.
Buying from Leaky Pipe Systems Ltd, you'll get a 50m porous rubber trickle irrigation hose which is ideal as a starter unit. It can be used as one length or cut to make several shorter sections. Arrange connections with our range of 12mm and associated barbed fittings. See selection packs of barbed connectors designed to help connect to hosepipes. Alternatively, choose hosesnap to barbed adaptor fittings if you prefer.

Technical information: Leak rate of 2-3L water per linear meter per hour at 1-2 Bar.

Very happy so far with my pipe for my polytunnel. And the customer service was excellent.
I was originally sent a defective pipe (leaking a lot in some places and not enough in others). I reported this to them and they immediately called to discuss what the problem could be, and sent a replacement. I then bought an extra 50m which they matched to the flow rate for my specific pipe (they measure each one apparently).
