Fruit & Veg’ gardens lend themselves to a lot of short lengths of LeakyPipe, laid either along the rows, or between close-spaced rows, each 'tee-ed' into a supply polytube "manifold” pipe.  Each take-off could have a in-line tap incorporated in the pipework so you can isolate individual lines when desired, without turning off the rest of the system.
